Presenter Bio

James Ebert shares his in-depth knowledge as a real estate appraiser from 20+ years’ experience with over 7,000 families and clients. He has appraised or inspected thousands of homes, from almost all areas of California. Ebert specializes in appraisals for complex and legal situations, serving as expert witness and providing legal and valuation support for legal matters. Additionally, he advises and counsel families, architects, attorneys and local civic groups on historic/architectural properties. Of course, he also helps neighbors and friends with the sale or purchase of homes and condos. As a featured speaker, Ebert shares his real estate appraiser expertise with other real estate professionals in seminars throughout the Southland, having presented dozens of seminars to over 1000 real estate agents, from Ventura to Long Beach to Pasadena. Additionally, James has been admitted as an expert to Her Majesty’s Royal Courts in London, England. Ebert’s expertise in historical & architectural properties is an additional service he provides. James was personally selected, out of hundreds other appraisers, to appraise the Historical Architectural Case Study Home of the world famous architectural photographer Julius Shulman.

In addition, as he continues to expand his appraising education, James has been admitted to the rigorous California Probate Referee program, with only 107 positions in the whole state, to assist the Superior Courts with private estates. James gives back to the local community by volunteering with southern California schools, park districts, non-profit organizations, neighborhood watch, CERT membership, & other organizations to name a few.
