Episode 13: “The Power of Touch”

Podcast - Susan Kaye

Episode Summary

Touch is our most developed sense at birth. Unlike the other senses it never changes throughout the aging process. Body-based, sex+, verbal and physical tools build a toolbox for our clients to remain physically, mentally and sexually engaged. An aging body is kept younger by a mind that is determined to foster aliveness and excitement, a body flowing with life-giving erotic potential. ” Keep in touch” is not just a cliche, but a life-sustaining requirement. In this riveting interview Dr. Susan Kaye shares her views on the power of– and need for– human touch. She talks about her work in the somatic arts, her commitment as a sexologist to life-affirming care, and the reasons for carrying on this tradition of incorporating touch into sexual healing practices.
