As was the case with the Ultimate SAR in Prague, our Warsaw International SAR was also held in a beautiful location–at the Sensi Institute, which is a psychotherapy, coaching, and healing arts building that houses different practitioners and has several private session meeting rooms, its own kitchen, a spiral stairway to meditation rooms, and a huge green flowering yard in back, where you can relax and contemplate. Warsaw itself is impressive, steeped in its own history of oppression and coming into its own modern era, and is a beautiful city to explore. We loved every minute of our time there, thanks to the generosity of our two hosts: Dr. Agata Loewe, fellow Sexologist, and Karo Aquabal, also a SexCoachU student on the path of sexual healing. Every morning we would get our coffee and breakfast at the Cupcake Café. Take a look!
Our weekend was amazing, having the presence of some of the most intelligent sexual healers and educators we’ve ever met! Wow, what a time we had….with massage specialists, psychotherapists, sex educators, activists, healers of many varieties, tantric teachers, dancers, writers. They all came with open minds and hearts eager to learn, share and unite as a force for changing the world toward sexual wellness. The SAR events included a Slut Walk after-party with a noted BDSM performance duo who also spoke and showed slides of their artful demonstrations of bondage, candle wax sensory play, and suspension. A highlight for us was the final night’s field trip to Warsaw’s Tantric Temple and sacred Sanctuary, which was in the old part of the city situated on a site of great suffering and bloodshed in former wartimes, as well as housing an atomic bomb shelter, now cosmologically transformed into a place of beauty, sanctity and healing. Its three separate rooms each have their own mystery and energies, especially the all-red-fabric-covered “Womb” chamber, where we were graced with secret teachings from two masters. During the weekend, we heard a candid talk on life in a unique polyamory community where idealism pushes the notion that poly love and sexual interlocking can save the world from war. And we were touched by hearing from a trans man speaker who brought us all to tears as he talked about his horrendous experiences of abuse at the hands of medical doctors and the shaming that occurs in this area of sexual identity. During this magical weekend we all surrendered into bonding with some of the most wonderful people in Eastern Europe–and beyond–all hungry to become active in the pro-sex movements of the world.
We discovered once more that there is NOTHING to equal an International SAR experience, having hosted them two years in a row with the best of the best participants from all over….Israel, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, USA, UK, Belgium, Switzerland, and more…Next year will be no different! Stay tuned. If you are not a sexologist or working in the field of sexology, you can join a SAR for your own personal growth, as many have done in the past. SAR is a journey into the self and an exploration of the myriad forms of sexual expression. Share in this incredibly powerful way to meet some of the most wonderful souls on earth, with sexual freedom as our universally shared mission.
